Scholarships and Awards
To be eligible for this award a student must be registered in as an Undergraduate, full-time student
at Ryerson University and have a clear academic standing. Be registered in a degree
granting program in the Department of Mathematics; including Mathematics and Its
Applications and Financial Mathematics. Be enrolled in their second, third,
fourth or final/graduating year and have a minimum CGPA of 2.67. Recipients of this
award have research deemed to be of high quality and the best among the nominees of that year.
To be eligible for this award a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student
in a mathematics program in the Department of Mathematics in the second, third or fourth year
and beyond of the program and have a clear academic standing; must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00;
and must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the lives of women in the mathematics programs.
Students will submit a letter outlining their involvement in student activities in terms of
leadership and volunteering within the department and Ryerson University as a whole, providing any
supporting material or reference letters in support of this application.

To be eligible for this award a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student
in a mathematics program in the Department of Mathematics in the fourth year of the program and
have a clear academic standing; must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the end of the third year
of study; and must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the athletic life and/or student
life in activities such as involvement in varsity sports, course unions or other clubs and
organizations at Ryerson University. Students will submit a letter of up to 250 words outlining
their involvement in student activities and/or athletics at Ryerson University, providing any
supporting material or reference letters in support of this application.
